About music and events at St Michael’s
With its own choir under musical director Roger Judd, St Michael’s hosts regular Sunday choral services.
In addition the church, with its impressive acoustics and famous organ, hosts several musical events each year, from the annual Music Nouveau in autumn, showcasing new local music, to local guest choirs, our long-standing seasonal visits from the renowned Birmingham University Singers in December.
The church is also among the regular venues for Herefordshire Art Week (h.Art) in September, displaying the best in local crafts and applied arts.
September is also the usual month for the annual reunion of the St Michael’s College Society (the ‘Old Boys’).
