The church serves the village of St Michael’s and its surroundings, which also boasts an active social life based around its village hall, and has its own choir, the St Michael’s Singers.
It is one of ten historic village and town churches that make up the Tenbury Team Ministry, which in turn lies within the Diocese of Hereford.
The neighbouring college is now closed, but the St Michael’s College Society of former pupils, staff and friends remains an active supporter of the church, where it holds an annual reunion, usually in September.
